In my Race and Ethnicity class we talk about lying to our kids. Simply put DON'T DO IT! You're lying if you tell them that the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny all exist. And parents wonder why there kids lie to them when they're teenagers. DUH! They've learned how to lie from YOU and they're pissed to know that it's okay for the parents to lie but not the kids. Where will you draw the line? And don't bullshit about sex to them, it'll just confuse them in the long run. JUST DON'T LIE. Use the right terms for when you're talking sex to them. Penis into vagina, sperm is ejaculated, the egg gets fertilized, then the woman goes through 40 weeks of gestation. If it's too hard for them, well then they won't ask anymore. I think. But at least you are not lying, and telling the truth.
